Georgiefest

An annual festival celebrating Georgie's life and legacy.

Maggies Cancer Charity

Maggies Southampton opened at the beginning of 2021, just in time for Georgie’s second round of chemo treatment. Gilly and the team have provided support to the whole family and Georgie was proud to raise funds for them by walking over hot coals – twice!

Mountbatten Hospice

During Georgie’s final months she was under the palliative care team at Mountbatten, a charity that relies on donations to continue providing the type of excellent end of life care that Georgie received.

Engraved names on a memorial plaque are surrounded by red and yellow flowers, with an American flag placed among them. The scene is set against a backdrop of autumn trees and city buildings, evoking a contemplative atmosphere.

Sarcoma UK

Georgie’s cancer was a rare sarcoma. It doesn’t get as much attention as the more common cancers and research into causes and treatments is vitally important.

A large crowd of people is gathered in front of an outdoor stage at a music festival. Bright stage lights illuminate the stage, and a large screen displays a musician playing a guitar. The sky is dark, indicating it is nighttime, and the words 'celebrating 30 years of rock' are illuminated above the stage.
